Monetization & Billing Addendum

1. Paid Plans & Access

koinonia may offer paid plans, subscriptions, one-time purchases, or limited "founding" or "lifetime" access tiers. The features, pricing, and availability of any paid offering are described at the time of purchase.

All paid access is subject to these Terms and any plan-specific disclosures presented during checkout.

2. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

If you enroll in a subscription:

• Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled prior to renewal.
• You authorize koinonia (and its payment processor) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.
• Subscription fees are charged in advance of each billing period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation must occur at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not retroactively refund previously paid amounts unless required by law.

3. Refund Policy

Except where required by applicable law:

• All fees are non-refundable.
• Partial billing periods are not prorated.
• Unused time, credits, or access is forfeited upon cancellation.

koinonia may, at its sole discretion, offer refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances. Any such exceptions will be clearly disclosed at the time of purchase or communicated directly to the user.

4. Lifetime / Founding Access Plans

If koinonia offers a "lifetime," "founding," or similar access plan:

• "Lifetime" refers to the commercial lifetime of the Platform, not the lifetime of any individual user.
• koinonia does not guarantee perpetual operation of the Platform.
• Lifetime access applies only to the features explicitly included at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
• koinonia reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or replace features as the Platform evolves.
• Lifetime access is non-transferable and may be revoked for violations of the Terms of Service.
• In the event koinonia discontinues the Platform entirely, no refunds or compensation shall be owed for lifetime access purchases.

5. Price Changes

koinonia may modify pricing, plans, or features at any time. For active subscriptions, price changes will take effect at the next renewal cycle following reasonable notice.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are currently processed through Stripe, Inc. koinonia does not store full payment card details.

Use of third-party payment services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental assessments associated with your purchase, unless otherwise stated.

8. Suspension for Non-Payment

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of access without notice.

9. Survival

This Addendum survives cancellation or termination of paid access to the extent necessary to enforce payment obligations and related provisions.
